New 7ID commander assumes post



CAMP RAMON MAGSAYSAY, Palayan City, Nueva Ecija,  -- Brig. Gen. Glorioso V. Miranda on Wednesday took over the command of the Philippine Army’s 7th Infantry (“Kaugnay”) Division, the country’s biggest training army camp.

The turnover of command ceremony was held at the 7ID grandstand at 9 a.m. witnessed by this camp’s 5,000 soldiers, local provincial and city officials and mediamen.

Miranda replaced Lt. Gen. Hernando Delfin Carmelo Irriberi, who was promoted as commanding general of the Philippine Army last February.

Miranda and Irriberi are members of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) “Matikas” Class of 1983.(PNA)
